Watch out! Parents gone wild! I know the blog is supposed to be about Becca and Fergie, but I have to show off this hot couple. When was the last time we even got this dressed up for a night out? This is from Friday night at the American Cancer Society fundraiser (yes, I was working).
Are we not the best looking couple in town? Who knew that a mere 15 hours later we would be covered in puke! The last photo is me with my dearest volunteer, Miriam. I wanted you to see the full view of the dress I wore.

It's Murphy's Law
Who is Murphy? I'd like to kick his butt.
After a grand total of 8 hours in Mothers' Morning Out last week, the babe is sick. Go figure. It is mostly runny nose and cough, but the congestion made her puke a couple of times on Saturday. By the way, there's nothing like being puked on by your child. We took a mother-daughter bath to complete the bonding experience.
Lee's first response is that we are not sending her back this week (or ever), but I'm trying to soften him up. If she doesn't get used to it now, it will just happen at kindergarten. I don't want my child to be "bubble girl" till she's 5 years old.
This post isn't intended to cause panic by the grandmas and aunts, so settle down. She's doing fine. I just wanted to vent, I guess.

This is for you, Grammy. Finally.
Finally, the pics of the Easter dress. Keep in mind that a mobile baby makes picture taking quite a bit harder now. I wish we had better pics, but this is all I got. Grandma Francena got this dress last year, when Becca was itty bitty. Surprisingly, I barely got it to button in the back! Glad we got one wear out of it.
After we got back from church, I got out some plastic eggs just to see what Petey would do. She was very curious about them, as was Fergie. We played with them most of the afternoon. I hid some puffs in one of them and watched them try to get it open. I don't know which of them had more fun with the eggs.

Pretty is as pretty does...
This has been a very busy week. We've have had 3 big fundraising events at work, so I've had to be gone most of the evenings. I feel like I'm missing so much--especially since Becca STARTED WALKING on Thursday!! No kidding, really walking. She is obviously taking after her mom walking at such an early age. : )
She is having fun toddling all over the house. We left her with a baby sitter for the first time last night--it was our good friend Cassie Huffman, from Wynne. Cassie said she just walked all over. There was a minor incident with a baby/puppy collision, but it was ok.
Here are some fun pics from last week.

What's the deal with this big bunny?
A few days before Easter, we took Becca to the mall to meet The Bunny. As you can see, she was not too fond of him/her at all. We never got a full on cry from her, but the pout was definitely there. After a few tries, we were able to get some good pictures.
I can't really blame Petey for being a little scared, just look at that thing!

Pics from the camera phone
"If I look pretty with these silly bunny ears on, can I have some candy?"
Speaking of candy....
"Have you seen my pants?"
I think Fergie's eyeballs were literally popping out of her head. BFF.
Please make comments about what you think Fergie is thinking right now. The funnier the better.
We enjoy everybody's comments. If you don't usually leave any, feel free to do so...we live for them.

The Boys are back in Town....
Jason Duffy's boys are here for a few days for Spring Break and the Bramell's went over there to watch the Razorbacks and see them. We had fun visiting, but not much fun watching the game. I guess it was destiny for the Dawgs to win that tournament. Becca had fun watching Justin and Matthew play and both of them wanted her to play too. I think her and Justin were hitting it off pretty good. Here are a few pictures of Becca and the boys and a few others taken at our house.

9 Month Check-up
Yes, NINE MONTHS OLD.....actually 10 months next weekend! It's going so fast...
Yesterday was our trip to the doctor for Becca's 9 month check-up. She weighs 19 lbs. even and she's 28.5 inches tall. The doctor told us she is developmentally right on and even excels in some areas (no surprise!). Becca really hammed it up laughing and chatting with the doc.
Lee has been quite busy working the past few weeks, so we are hoping that spring is going to bring him lots of business and people are ready to start buying houses again. We have also made a new decision about Becca's care. We are going to enroll her in the mothers' day out program at my church so she can start getting used to playing with other kids. She'll go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-1. This will also give Lee and Grandma a little break from babysitting. Going to the MMO program was part of our plan all along, we just didn't set a date to start. Now we think it's time.
I'm attaching some pics that Grammy sent from her last visit to the Bramell house. These are so cute! She's even smiling a little in the first one....It amazes us to watch Becca and Fergie play together. They love each other so much; it's so sweet! I had no idea that Fergie was going to be so patient with Becca constantly pulling on her and poking her eyes, but she just sits there and lets her do it.

Lazy Saturday
We are having a lazy day today. I was gone for a couple of days this week to meetings in Birmingham. It was very hard being away from Becca and Lee.
As you can see, Becca really likes to read! Many times a day she will take out all the magazines from the rack and look at them or tear them to pieces...another thing she likes to do is pull my hair then laugh. That is not fun at all! Her daddy is afraid she's going to be mean.
We are working on tooth #2; it's coming in right next to the other one on the bottom. That might be why she's had some rough nights this week (while I was gone, of course) :0
Here are a couple of pics of Petey in her new big girl jammies. Nanny bought these for her a few weeks ago. We love them! They are very soft and comfy.
We will go on Wednesday this week for Becca's 9 month check-up. We'll get to hear how perfect she is and how tall she's gonna be. I'll update if there's any news.
