Conversation with a toddler

Becca is really talking up a storm now. Most of the time we know what she's saying, but sometimes we struggle. Guess that's pretty normal. Last night, I thought I would try "I love you" again with her. Here's how it went:

Me: Becca, I love you.

Me: Becca, I love you.

Me: Becca, can you say I love you?

Her: I love me!

Well, we're getting there.

  1. Wait until she's 13. She'll roll her eyes, hands on hips, stomp the foot and say YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTNAD, NO ONE GETS ME, NO ONE LOVES ME BUT ME. YOUR ARE RUINING MY LIFE.

Fun times ahead, thought I would warn you.

  2. Sweet, sweet Becca! One day it'll "click" and you won't have to prompt her anymore.

    Love to all...
