Well, here we go. Officially teething. How can one teeny tiny little tooth cause so much trouble? The past two nights, we have been up and I think the tooth is the problem. Saturday night, Becca was awake from 2:00-4:00AM and last night it was 2:00-5:00--yes, AM. Why we didn't think to try the Orajel on Saturday night, I don't know. But last night Lee thought of it. The tooth is on the bottom, and it is barely poking through--just enough to feel a sharp edge. Someone please tell Lee that she is not awake because she is spoiled and wants to be rocked--if that is the case, wouldn't she just go right back to sleep? My friend Sara says the first 4 teeth are the worst, and after that it should be fine again. But how long will it take for 4 teeth to come in?? At this rate, we might sleep again by Christmas.
In other news, Pop came to spend the weekend with us. We got some cute pictures, but will have to post them later when I get home. Thank goodness Becca didn't cry every time he picked her up! In fact, she loved all over him! We went to see the Wal-Mart Visitors Center/Museum in Bentonville. It was pretty neat; can't believe I've lived here 15 years and never seen it. Of course, Dad liked it since he used to work at Wal-Mart in the 70's and even had dinner at Sam Walton's house once. I never even knew that!

It seems like after the first one breaks through, the others just start popping up pretty fast and soon she will have teeth! I used to give you a cold pickle and you would "grind" your gums back and forth on it. It was pliable and cold.....you liked it. I have heard a lot of people say that the teething tablets are great. I think there are 2 kinds and the homeopathic type are the ones not regulated by the FDA which I would avoid. The others should be fine. Try them so you can ALL get some sleep!
